JULY 2011

Greetings from fog central. We've been busy adding to our families, writing our second record and playing lots of shows.

We traveled to SXSW this year and had a great time - we played with some great other bands at the FILTER MAGAZINE day party in Austin. Thanks for everyone who stopped by and said hi. It was hot in Austin - the BBQ was good and the beer was nice and cold. I love Austin and look forward to going back again next year. Wig nearly destroyed our hotel room and Matthew tried to drive to Taylor. I felt bad for our gracious host Dre and her friends, but they were good sports.

We've been playing a lot of shows in California over the past few months as well. This Saturday 7/16 we perform with Form and Fate and Shuteye Unison at the Hemlock -come out if you can. Then in September we have a show with Kevin Devine at Bottom of The Hill. Should be fun.

We have a bunch of new songs written that we are hoping to record this fall for a 2012 LP release. This record is going to be a beast. Lots of new ideas and all around blissed out HEAVINESS.
